Henrik Ibsen

Henrik Ibsen was said to be the father of realism because is ideas were extremely realistic. He was a theatre director, writer, and a poet. Ibsen had a rough childhood because of lack of money and his fathers depression. His father lost his business and as a result, the family lived in poverty. Ibsen had is first child out of wedlock, a child whom he's never met but still payed for child support. Ibsen had another child with his wife . Ibsen exiled himself from Norway because of the war, he went to Italy. Ibsen wrote about social issues in his plays and stories. Ibsen died from having multiple strokes.
